Woohoo. We arrived in Entebbe a few days ago. More importantly, the 7 LARGE army bags that were vacuum packed full of yarn made it (along with us) from Seattle to Amsterdam to Entebbe through customs in Entebbe to Kampala and 6 hours (by bus) up to Gulu safe and sound. We are still adjusting (mentally and physically) to the environment in Gulu, but are so happy to be here. The women in our program are unbelievable. They welcomed us with songs which they prepared for our arrival. We are thankful for them and also for Stew and Brad who are showing us the ropes and introducing us to everyone we need to know in the city.
Yeah! I'm so glad you guys made it safe and sound! Can't wait to hopefully talk soon. Love you!
